Thursford Collection

Thursford offers truly unique experiences all year round. From April to September, the Steam Museum is open and houses the world’s largest collection of steam engines and organs. Then every November to December, the complex is transformed into a winter wonderland, wowing audiences with one of Europe’s biggest Christmas shows, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. Thursford also offers two immersive experiences with Santa’s Magical Journey inviting families to visit Father Christmas, and The Enchanted Journey of Light, Norfolk’s premium lantern light display.

Perfect for any weather, the Steam Museum invites guests to get up close to the mighty machines of yesteryear and jump onboard a vintage fairground ride with the gallopers and gondola. There’s also the opportunity to hear resident organist, Robert Wolfe play the Wurlitzer live. Robert has been performing at the museum for over 40 years. In between Robert’s sets, silent movies will be playing.

With a selection of retail shops, a Barn café serving hot & cold food and drink, free parking and a fully accessible site, Thursford Steam Museum is the perfect day out!
