Eaton Park

Eaton Park consists of 80 acres, including a large children’s play area, a cafe, tennis courts, basketball court, outdoor table tennis, petanque terrain and skate park. It is easily reached from Norwich City Centre and there’s something to do for all ages, such as the boating lake, tennis courts, woodland walks and meadows. Eaton Park is Norwich’s largest park, and you will never struggle to find a quiet spot for a picnic.

The park has an events calendar with summer Bandstand concerts (usually free), nature walks (free) and volunteer gardening available.

There’s also a miniature railway with two tracks – The Heritage Track (closed currently for refurbishment) and The Mainline. Running Sundays and Bank Holidays (11.30am – 3.30pm) from Easter to 29 September. Tickets are £1.50 adult, and £1 child. The Boat Pond (1928) is one of the best in Europe and uses 960,000 gallons of fresh water. Event days and regattas run from April to October. See their website for the full programme.
