Margaret Paston has been described by historianDiane Wattasthe “most prolific letter writer in medieval England”.  A prolific letter writer of everyday medieval England, 100 letters survive telling the remarkable story of one of Norfolk’s most powerful families and their relationships against the turbulent background of the Wars of the Roses.
