Where to Eat in Norwich This Valentine’s

When it comes to something as special as Valentine’s Day, there’s nowhere better to spend it than right here in Norwich. This year, we’re lucky enough to have plenty of limited-time Valentine’s menus to tuck into across the City of Stories – read on for our top recommendations!

The Ivy – All You Need Is Love

Celebrate the season of love in style with The Ivy’s three-course Valentine’s Day menu this year! It’s bound to be an evening filled with romance, and love isn’t the only thing in the air with the smell of these delicious dishes around!

For £75 per person, you can dine a duo of prawns to start with avocado and tomatoes, beautifully complemented with Marie Rose sauce. Then for your mains, you can choose between a succulent fillet of beef, lobster linguine, and coconut sweet potato curry. And what’s a Valentine’s meal without something sweet to finish? For that, The Ivy are serving their sharing dessert with vanilla and strawberry parfait, raspberry sorbet, and salted caramel truffles. You’ll also be toasting to your evening with a glass of Della Vitte Prosecco Rosé upon arrival!

Available from Saturday, February 10 – Thursday, February 15, if you’re looking for something special this Valentine’s Day, this is the menu for you. Book your table through The Ivy website!

Cinema City – Valentines Deals

How does date night at the cinema sound? Well, with a bit of help from Cinema City and their three very special Valentines’ offerings, it’ll be one to remember this year! From delicious food to the big screen itself, Cinema City have got plenty to choose from. Mix and match to make your ideal romantic evening, then all that’s left is to enjoy!

Firstly, the food. If you didn’t know already, Cinema City have a full-fledged kitchen which is open to all – even if you’re not seeing a film! This year, they’re offering a special Valentine’s Menu, with three courses costing just £30 per person. With tasty options like French Onion Soup with Parmesan Croutons, Pork Belly with Dijon Mustard, Chantenay Carrots, Broccoli, and Apple Cider Jus, and Red Velvet Tiramisu to name a few all available, you’re spoilt for choice!

Or if you’re more of a cinema snacker, they’ve got that covered too. Share the love with a bottle of prosecco, a large popcorn, and a bag of Candy Kittens to enjoy, all for just £30. Now that’s a good array to tuck into while watching your film, right?

And finally, we can’t not mention the special Valentines screenings, it is a cinema after all! On the big screen this year, you can fall for some of the most romantic (and not-so-romantic) films of all time including ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’, ‘Casablanca’, ‘Rye Lane’, ‘Gone Girl’, ‘The Taste of Things’, and ‘Anyone But You: The Valentine Encore’. If you’re looking to make it really romantic for a loved one, you can buy two tickets in a special gift box for £20! Not to mention all the brownie points you’ll be earning for organising this night out. Book your cinema tickets on the Cinema City website.

Giggling Squid – Giggles for Two on Home Delivery

Instead, if you’re feeling like a homebody, you can order the ‘Giggles for Two’ bundle through the Giggling Squid website or on Deliveroo to get your Valen-Thai-nes fix (See what we did there?).

In this fantastic bundle, you’ll get to choose between a range of Giggling Squid classics to tantalise your tastebuds, including Salt & Pepper Squid, Chicken Satay, and Spring Rolls for starters, then Thai Green Curry, Thai Red Curry, Chicken Massaman Curry, or Pad Thai for your main dishes.
