Take a step back in time this summer

Norwich, Home of the Dinosaurs!

Step back in time this summer in the City of Stories.

Fans of our Jurassic friends will be thrilled to hear that we’re having a summer of dinosaurs here in Norwich, with so much to discover. Perfect for families and dino-enthusiasts alike, you can spend a whole day uncovering T.rex-ific treats in the city!

Start off with a visit to see Dippy, The Natural History Museum’s famed and much-loved Diplodocus cast. On show at the Norwich Cathedral 13th July – 30th October.

Time for a break? To keep the fun going, head to one of City Food Trail participating restaurants for an exclusive dino-themed menu and fun prehistoric colouring sheets for the kids. Just keep your eyes peeled for neon dinosaur signs in the windows of restaurants, cafes and bars taking part. 12th July – 22nd August.

Discover the city with the GoGo Discover T.rex sculpture trail, 12th July – 11th September. Take a Jurassic jaunt around Norwich to find 20 large Tyrannosaurus-Rex sculptures, each one individually decorated by local and national artists.

Finish off the day with a visit to Brick Dinos at The Forum, to see all your favourite prehistoric friends created from only LEGO bricks! 19th July – 30th August.

And if you want to take the dinosaurs home with you, why not check out An A-Z of Extraordinary Extinct Creatures, a new illustrated children’s book created by Norfolk business Dodo and Dinosaur.
