Cat House Lounging Session – 60 & 90 minute sessions of amazing cat-ness available!
Our lounging sessions are designed to give you time to truly relax and unwind, in the company of our 20+ cats of every shape, size and colour. Please do make yourselves at home and take your time; we have quality drinks and sweet treats to tempt you as well as comfy seating and creativity to inspire you. Our friendly staff will happily answer your questions about the cats as well as about all the workshops we offer each day.
On weekday afternoons we offer a student discount – ID will be required on arrival
On weekday afternoons we offer a carer discount – Official Carer ID card will be required on arrival
If the session you want is full, you can put yourself onto the waiting list for that session, then you will get an email if spaces become available.
Things you can do at The Cat House:
-Read a book from our extensive cat book library
-Work on your laptop – we have plug points and wi-fi for you to use
-Play a cat themed game or jigsaw
-Sit in the sun on our catio, with the cats
-Entertain the cats with our myriad of cat toys
-Snap a selfie or two with the cats – be sure to share on social media!
-Visit our gift shop and admire our art gallery – both filled with local cat themed creations
Hopefully you will make new friends – both the feline kind and the human kind – in a cosy, creative, cat focused environment.
Enjoy your first drink on us, plus you can purchase sweet treats (vegan & gluten free options available) and snacks if you wish.
This is such a unique experience! We look forward to welcoming you!
Please note: in order to ensure a calm environment for the cats and other visitors these sessions are strictly for ages 10 years and up (or ages 8 or 9 having completed our Cat Awareness session – please bring their Cat Awareness Card with you to show on arrival)
and a maximum ratio of 2 aged 10 – 14’s to 1 adult.
– Ages 16 plus are ok to come without an adult.
