PR is a constant job. You must play the long game. It’s about gaining contacts, nurturing relationships, growing trust and respect. It’s about being able to deliver, and deliver on time.
PR is one of our strengths. Over the years we have consistently achieved coverage in the travel pages in national titles. And we work closely with VisitEngland and VisitBritain. But we don’t leave it there. We pitch stories to specialists and guidebooks and local media too. We’re regularly talking on local radio about how to ‘enjoy Norwich to the max’ and our work features across local print, digital media and broadcast.

You have a part to play
To get the most out of your partnership we urge you to actively share with us your news, product launches, changes and people stories – treat us as an extension of your own team. We need to be able to represent you and talk about you confidently. If we don’t know it, we can’t share it.
We also use your information to plan content across visitnorwich.co.uk, City of Stories (blog) and social media. So, a bit of news can go a long way.
VisitNorwich submits story ideas, pitches press trips and shares news and information responding to media call outs each week. We talk regularly to local and national media through our personal contacts and PR databases and we reach international media through our industry partners at VisitBritain and domestic through VisitEngland.
As a VisitNorwich partner our aim is to get as many pieces of positive PR coverage for Norwich, Norfolk and our member organisations as possible.
In 2018 VisitNorwich PR coverage reached an estimated global audience of over 253 million people.
