Dipple & Conway Opticians in Norwich remains open seven days a week as an essential service and for priority eyecare appointments during the latest lockdown.
Clients who have an appointment booked in will be contacted by Dipple & Conway, and asked to attend as normal, while respecting the social distancing policy which remains in place. Anyone with an eye examination due will also be contacted and booked in. Appointments are being prioritised by urgency to ensure those with the most pressing eyecare needs are seen.
Dipple & Conway are politely asking clients to go to their scheduled appointments alone; unless they require the care or support of someone else to attend.
For anyone who doesn’t have an appointment booked, but is concerned about their vision, feel it has changed or needs new glasses, Dipple & Conway can be contacted on (01603) 626750 or by email [email protected] and an appointment will be made as soon as possible. In some cases, these will be managed by video call to limit the amount of people visiting the practice.
Clients who need their spectacles adjusted or have a query about their glasses should again contact the team by phone or email for advice.
Postal services are also in place to ensure clients can get hold of replacement glasses and contact lenses, spectacle cleansers and cloths and contact lens solution, without leaving home. Contact lens deliveries are being sent out as normal.
Pre Covid-19 information
Dipple & Conway Opticians started as a partnership in 1916 between George William Dipple, jeweller of Swan Lane, Norwich and Thomas Conway. We are a family-run, independent company providing the highest level of eyecare for the people of Norfolk and beyond. We only stock the very finest frames which we glaze with Zeiss and Essilor lenses in our onsite lab.
We know that everyone’s needs are different so by offering longer than average examination times and employing only fully qualified Dispensing Opticians we are able to treat every client as an individual.
We are very family-friendly. We have cared for the eye health of several generations of hundreds of families over the years.
As an essential service, Dipple & Conway remain open for appointments. Book a glasses or contact lenses appointment from their online store.
