Norwich Summer Sessions – Big Black Cadillac & Swing Dance

Castle and Marketplace

Big Black Cadillac play 50’s rockabilly, both British & American style rock n roll and love playing the 80’s styled neo-rockabilly. They play a mix of covers and some self-penned originals, jivers and strollers. The band was set up by Neil Thomas in 2006 and has gone through a number of line-ups before reaching its current membership. To mark their 20th anniversary they hope to get back in the studio to record another album, mostly self-penned.

Hannah has been dancing Lindy Hop for ten years and organises regular classes and events across Norfolk. She’ll be teaching on behalf of Fine City Swing, a friendly and inclusive collaboration between the swing dance groups and enthusiasts of Norwich. With a love of fast jazz, hot swing and early rhythm and blues, Hannah is known for her smile, her energy and her vast collection of hair flowers. She’s always the first one on the floor and the last one to leave, and she’s looking forward to sharing her love of music and dance at the Summer Sessions this year.

Performances will commence at 1:15, 2:30pm & 3:45pm and will last for around 30-40mins.
