Norwich’s own Flat Venus are celebrating the release of their latest single with a special hometown show at Norwich Arts Centre, presented by PONY UP.
Formed from a close-knit group of friends, the five-piece draws on the dream pop and folk traditions of the 90s, crafting harmony-rich songs that feel both intimate and expansive. Their sound balances vulnerability with atmosphere, layering spaced out, jangling guitars over a driving rhythm section, with vocal arrangements that occasionally verge on “Gregorian chant”.
