Latino Power brings together musicians from Colombia, Cuba, Chile and the UK, performing a wide range of Latin American traditional and contemporary music styles – including soulful boleros, salsa, bachata and reggaeton hits. The band is all about igniting people’s spirits through upbeat tunes and get them to dance and have fun together.
Through their regular weekend sessions at Revolución de Cuba and in other local venues, Latino Power has functioned as the catalyst for the Latin American community to create a shared sense of identity through music and dance, and have now become their beating heart.
Norwich-based Latin dance instructors, Jack and Marwa, will be leading free dance classes between the Latino Power sets. Passionate about bringing people together through the joy of dance, they are excited to be back at the Norwich Summer Sessions in 2026! With a relaxed and friendly teaching style, their classes are designed to be accessible, energetic, and enjoyable for everyone. Whether you’re completely new to dancing or just curious to give it a try, you’ll be able to join in—no partner or prior experience required. Expect a fun, social atmosphere where you can move, laugh, and connect with others.
They also run weekly classes and social dancing events in Norwich, helping to grow a vibrant and inclusive local Latin dance community.
Performances will commence at 1:15, 2:30pm & 3:45pm and will last for around 30-40mins.
